All our Rani destinations offer a range of adventure activities, but the adventure capital of Africa undoubtedly remains awesome Victoria Falls. Adventure seekers from around the world flock here to experience adrenalin-pumping activities, such as bungi-jumping, micro-lighting, kayaking and white-water rafting. Those seeking the ultimate rush can choose to bungi-jump off the Victoria Falls bridge into the spectacular Zambezi gorge 100 metres below, before being whisked away by raft to challenge the biggest commercially-runnable Grade 5 rapids in the world. For those seeking wildlife interaction, horse and elephant-back safaris, as well as guided walks with lions, are on offer within the private game reserve surrounding The Stanley and Livingstone and Old Ursula. We will happily organize any of these adventure activities for you.

Play the original survivor games…

With a setting of white sandy beaches surrounded by the crystal-clear water of the Indian Ocean and an historical journey back in time with the original east African dhows that have been sailing the Mozambican coast line for centuries, Allan Cameron from Survivor Media has created a unique “Dhow Chasing” activity, exclusive to Rani Resorts. This once in a life-time experience offers guests a chance to play the original Survivor games – from “Skull Swings” to “Abacus Blocks” to sailing in a local hand-crafted dhow, where teams are pitted against each other to compete for "hostages" which are traded at each challenge. To ensure everyone's participation, no matter their age or fitness level, the challenges are split into either physical (battle) or mental (bargain). The concept is simple (finish first with the most “hostages”); the challenge compelling and completely entertaining.
